30 Day Photo Challenge-Day 09 - A picture of the person who has gotten you through the most.

I have already posted my feelings about competition. The idea that someone has more value in someone's life than someone else is strange to me. Those who have touched my life have blessed different areas and got me through different things. The obvious first choice is my Mom. She stood by me with unconditional love through the most tumultuous times of my life. She was there for the birth of my firstborn and helped care for my youngest while we waited for interstate compact papers to be completed so we could take her home.
What got me through the most was her prayers. Her unwavering faith that I would find my way back to a loving Saviour kept her from giving up. She never stopped praying, encouraging or believing that someday I would return.

This is my brother wearing Minnie ears. The Princess seems to be wondering what he is up to. It makes me laugh because he makes me laugh!

30 Day Photo Challenge Day 6- A picture of a person you'd love to trade places with for a day.

No one complains when she gets pudding on her face. She dances wherever and whenever she wants to! She knows what it means to be a princess. She is comfortable with her own sense of style. Yes indeed, I would trade places with her anytime!

30 Day Photo Challenge-Day 5 A Picture of My Favorite Memory

At my age and with the amazing family God has given to me, I have countless beautiful memories so choosing one was too difficult. I decided to post a photo that began thousands of favorite memories. This was the first time the four of us went to Disneyland together and the first time any of us had been to California Adventure Park. This was the time that we discovered what a wonderful place for our family to experience, share and enjoy. This is the place where The Princess can do the same things other children her age can do. My daughter became engaged less that 100 yards from where this photos was taken. We celebrated my Dad's 80th birthday this past Summer. The Coffee Guy and I find joy, romance and childlike fun every time we go. We have now been to six Disney Parks and dream of future visits.

Hope

30 Day Photo Challenge-Day 4 A Picture of My "Knight"

(Technically it said "night" but you can call it artistic freedom)

This is my "knight". He isn't perfect but that is what makes him perfect for me. He loves me and he is loving to my children. He didn't have role models growing up for parenting or in the role of a husband so he has chosen to do his best at following the example or our loving Heavenly Father. The fact that he is willing to learn and grow as a man, husband and father makes him my Knight in Shining Armour. *sigh*

Hope

30 Day Photo Challenge-Day 3 A picture of the cast from your favorite show.

NCIS

I don't really have a favorite TV show. I am at the place in my life that I find enjoyment in several different genres and it all can depend on my mood. I like shows I can enjoy with my family or friends. NCIS is one that my Dad and I tune to when he is visiting so for today, it can be my favorite. I guess its time for Dad to visit again soon.

Hope

30 Day Photo Challenge-Day 2 Person You Have Been Close To The Longest

To my left in this photo is my dear friend Kristen. This picture says so much because she has been by my side since our Junior year in high school. We sat together at graduation. We were college roommates. She was my maid of honor, has been shoulder to cry on, girlfriend to laugh with and voice of reason. Although we can go months without talking, she has been a constant friend. She is beautiful, generous and kind. My whole family is in love with her!

Hope
