30 Day Photo Challenge-Day 14 - A picture of someone you could never imagine your life without.

I am pretty sure no one is paying close attention but just in case, yes, I know I missed a few days. (Mainly because I wasn't keen on naming someone in my life better than someone else.) If that means I failed the challenge than so be it. The funny thing is, today's topic is exactly what was on my heart to share anyway.

A Picture Of Someone You Could Never Imagine Your Life Without

The Princess has blessed me in ways I could have never imagined. She has not only changed my life, she has changed ME. My faith is stronger, my life is richer and my ability to love is deeper.
The Princess was born with Emanuel Syndrome, a rare genetic disorder that affects every cell in her body. Her birthmother decided she was not going to be able to raise her and signed off on placing her for adoption when she was five weeks old. Developmental Disabilities and a laundry list of medical anomalies are just a part of her package. She is a mystery to the medical community with countless surgeries, hospitalizations, tests and procedures.
We are now part of two unique groups. The larger community of families with a member who has special needs both medically and developmentally. The smaller group is the Emanuel Syndrome family. Both groups have brought us sweet relationships with people who we may have never met and certainly wouldn't have understood.
We have a child who knows unconditional love. She has a deep and unwavering faith that many of us will never achieve here on earth. She allows us to see a brightness in life in ways that adulthood had dulled. She has taught us to slow down so we don't miss a thing. She has brought true beauty into our home.
I am blessed!

Always,
Hope
